Dawn of the Dead -
This is one scene from "Dawn of the Dead". In the first part, the film has some eerily scary music casting in the background of the film at a quiet level so it doesn't distract you from what is happening in the scene. The music gets loud quickly as the camera turns to look at the door from above the bed, giving an edge of horror and a hint that something is going to happen trough that doorway. The camera goes to a closeup of the doorknob moving to reveal a character in the shadows. This is effective as the audience don't know who the mysterious character is. The lighting in this scene is very dim so that we cannot see much in the scene, causing the audience to focus only on what is vital. The shadow cast upon the persons face in the doorway gives a sense that something bad or horrific is about to happen. A use of a neutral view is used to show equality between characters and to show that we are equal to them in this part of the scene as nothing bad has happened. As soon as this 'figure' jumps onto her father, taking a bite out of his flesh, we look down on the character to show he is more vulnerable.

The Woman in black -
The scene opens with close ups of play things showing that the characters in this are young but living in the victorian times. The camera is doing a high angle as if from the perspective of one of the characters, this also shows that whoever is looking down is the most significant being in the scene. After there is a long shot with a neutral angle looking at the three girls playing in the scene showing that they are all young and equal. Following this there is a mid shot of the characters getting the audience up close and personal when they're having fun at this moment. Slow, creepy music kicks in building up the tension. An extreme long shot high angle is shown from the corner of the room looking upon the children as if it is over powering them then suddenly all three look up as if someone is watching. They act like they are being controlled like puppets and signaled towards the window through another long shot at a neutral angle on the ground.the music builds up as the characters rise and drop their toys during close ups showing the level of possession conveyed through them at this point, they have no cares or worries anymore. Neutral midshot, they walk in unison toward the window showing little to no expression, this all happens while a tracking shot guides them. They open the windows in close ups and proceed to jump put, the music is at its peak, realisation hits when a scream of a woman is heard in the distance and yelps my baby.

The Conjuring -
This scene starts off with an extreme close-up of Annabelle's eye, which is slightly broken, evoking an eerie, unnerved feeling towards the viewer. The camera slowly begins to track outwards to reveal her face. Her smile brings more uneasy feelings towards the viewer as the combination of Annabelle's big eyes, along with her creepy half-smile, suggests to the viewer that this doll is possessed. The next shot is a neutral shot showing three room-mates sat down explaining the events which they have experienced with Annabelle, and how she must by a seven year old girl who was killed in the apartment they are living in. As they are explaining this the camera then tracks out to show the two examiners that the friends are talking to, a piece of text then appears below giving the name of the case and the date in which it occurred. This shocks the viewer as they realise that this is based on a true story, showing that things like this happen in the real world.
The next shot is a high angle shot looking down at Annabelle as she is led on the floor in the corridor of the apartment, with some red crayons in her hand. The scene then cuts to a POV of the room-mates as they pick up a piece of paper on the floor, which says "Miss me?" in very crude handwriting, shocking the viewer into believing that Annabelle is fully capable of what the three room-mates said she was. The camera then cuts to a low angle as the friends enter the room Annabelle was just in, showing the friends are unable to control the situation that they are in
